  • Face Scrub with Goat Milk - Preservative?

Hello! I am making a face scrub/powder with dry ingredients and a very small amount of oils. I have been debating on whether or not I should add powdered goat milk because I don’t want it to spoil or anything.

I was wondering what would be some good preservatives I can use so the powdered goat milk would be ok to use in my face scrub. I saw sorbic acid listed as a preservative in another face scrub formula but to be honest, I don’t know too much about that preservative. I’m grateful for any thoughts or feedback!

What benefits are you expecting to get from adding powdered goats milk?

I’m expecting to get a nice clean and soft face (I’m assuming it was because of the AHAs in the milk). I remember using powdered goats milk mixed with water on my face a couple times and it was so clean but the milk was so gentle. Thanks!
