    Hi all

    im looking to formulate a body lotion gel that will hydrate and moisture the skin for a long run and i dont want to use glycerin aloepolysorbate 80 can you recommend alternatives ideas please?or i will have to use one of those ?thanks in advance

    No, you could get a lot more complicated and expensive if you wish. How about Glucam E-20, or sorbitol?

    Sorbitol is good if you can get it.

    IMO it’s a bit hard to get cosmetic-grade sorbitol, but food-grades made by top companies are really good.

    I personally liked Erythritol better than Glycerin or Sorbitol
    better an emollient, yet not as sticky.

    try d—panthenol or hyluronic acid.
