  Effectiveness of SPECTRASTAT G2-N Preservative in O/W Emulsions with Neutral pH?

  How effective and stable is SPECTRASTAT G2-N (Inolex’s trademark and brand name) preservative system at protecting O/W emulsions with neutral pH (5.5 - 6.5 pH) from microbial and fungal assault?

  For the curious, the INCI name of spectrastat G2-N is Caprylhydroxamic Acid (and) Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Glycerin

  I personally don’t think it is a good choice for preservation. Others might disagree.
