What is the lowest pH at which we can make a stable shampoo with disodium laureth sulfosuccinate at 5% active surfactant level or lower?

my current shampoo has pH of 5.1. I want to add disodium laureth sulfosuccinate but they say it is not stable at low pH.

It should be above 7. I tried to reduce it to 6 once and the product changed smell and colour. It’s a nice surfactants (goes well in face washes) but it’s pretty ph sensitive unfortunately.

@ngarayeva001 so it will be pretty hard to preserve and also not so gentle because of high pH.

There are products like Rewopol SB FA, Texapon SB 3 with the slightly acidic pH, preserved with sorbates. Check the TDS or SDS. I Think, it has to be OK.
