    @Abdullah Anionic are known to remove particulates like dust and sebum, while non-ionic surfactants work well on removing oils. Anionic surfactants will be helpful removing both the scalp flakes and conditioning ingredients, though conditioning agents might need multiple washes to be fully removed. If you have too much oil, blend of anionic and non-ionic is preferred.

    @singhc10 thanks
    For dust, which one is better?
    SLS and ALS or SLES ald ALES or AOS?

    Isn’t oil and sebum in same category? If not then what type of oils do non-ionics remove well?

    @Abdullah

    • For dust particles, SLES, SLS, AOS or their combination would work.
    • Oil is basically triglyceride, while sebum exists more as a particle, combination of esters, triglyceride, cholesterol, squalene, dead skin cells and dirt.
