  • Cream cleanser melts @ 40C in Incubator Stability Test Question

    Hello,
I made a cream cleanser with
    sodium cocoyl isethionate 20%
    stearic acid: 5%
    Glycerin 5%
    Aculyn 28 Polymer (acrylates/beheneth-25 methacrylate copolymer). 4%
    perservative.
Its pretty similar to a formula by Lubrizol (mild pearilized foaming facial cream).
It seems pretty stable. When I put it in the incubator at 40% it melts and foams up a bit (and stays that way). When I remove it from the incubator, it returns to the proper consistency. It seems to start melting at 30C. Would this still be considered shelf stable? Does this happen to a lot of cream cleansers? Im just a hobbyist so I have no clue.
    Thanks for reading.
