  • Cost effective in-vivo SPF Static (UV-A + B) measurement of a range of formulas pre-FDA validation?

Soon I’ll have a range of 5 SPF ~30 sunscreen formulas that I want to compare to each other for UV-A and UV-B protection. I’m looking for ways to do this without breaking the bank.

Do you know any labs that could do this e.g. on a single subject? Using 10 test sites on one person before picking a formula to go forwards with for the 10 subject UV-B test an in-vitro UV-A assay required by the FDA?

I have contacted suncarelab who previously quoted me very competitive prices for SPF static UV-B ($2900).
