  • CONDITIONER PLS SOS HELP - VISCOCITY ISSUE.

    hello all!
I am trying to produce a conditioner with the following formula: (100ml)
    Water 77g

    Coconut oil 6g
    Abyssinian seed oil 4g
    BTMS 50 7g
    Cetyl Alcohol 3g

    Panthenol 2g
    Preservative 1g
    10 drops of aroma

My issue is that the end product appears to be more like a mask than a more watery conditioner.

How can I manage to have a more watery form - by reducing btms or by increasing the watery phase? And in which percentage should I change those?
Does anyone have a typical simple recipe like this for a creamy conditioner?

    Thank you all!

It’s probably shear issue. How do you emulsify it?

Try reducing the BTMS to around 4%.
