Concentration of ingredients
Greetings to all the forum members. This query of mine is regarding the order of ingredients listed on the products like liquid hand wash etc. The list of ingredients begins with aqua and then goes on….. Are the ingredients listed in descending order of concentration i.e the first ingredient is the largest in proportion and the final one is the least in proportion or the ingredients are just arbitrarily listed ???

It’s in descending order of predominance with the exception of ingredients that are in concentrations of less than 1% or are colour additives.
