    Hi,

Trying to formulate a “Gold Shampoo”.    However having a lot of trouble dispersing gold pigment in the shampoo. It falls to the bottom after a few days.

What can we add to the formula to disperse the pigment? Have tried carbomers, as well as Cithrol EGDS (pearlising agent, which we thought may suspend the particles but it doesn’t work). What can we add as a suspending agent so that the colours remain dispersed throughout the shampoo?

    Here is the base formulation:

    Aqua                             q/s
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate 95% ASM      10
    CAPB  35%  ASM                                5
    Cocoamide DEA                                2
    Glycerox HE                                     2
    Sodium Lactate                                2
    Versathix                                         1
    Preservative  Kathon                   0.05

    Many thanks for your help

    Myra
