    What is a good agent to clean and sanitize tanks being used for make up?  Right now I am using IPA and I know it works but I want use more of a cleansing chemical and then the IPA… What do big companies use clean their tanks and hoses?

    You can add whatever surfactant you want, but you’d need to rinse it out, unlike alcohol which readily evaporates.

    You can use butyl cellosolve or some other glycol ethers

    You probably won’t get many answers here, as this board in mainly intended for cosmetic formulations.

    Thank you!  I have remove cosmetics off machinery so I thinking some folks may have a little knowledge of the compounding area.  Do you know of a forum where I could ask these questions?
