Hi everyone, i usually made anhydrous product for myself but now i’m trying to make lotion, have all the ingredients and tools but still don’t know how to store the citric acid solution. Is it okay if i use pipet glass bottle? And if i make 50% solution do i need to add preservative? Thank you

50% citric acid solution would have a pH around 1. you don’t need to preserve it. Just fill a little bit more than a half of a dropper bottle with citric acid powder, top up with deionised water, shake and you are good to go.

I would weigh the Citric acid of course. It is 50% wt/wt.
