  cationic and anionic surfactant

  Dear All ;

  As per my knowledge there will be instability of the shampoo if we use Anionic Surfactant with Conditioning agent (cationic one) however i found a product for J&J they use PQ10 with anionic surfactant

  what could be your comments in that regards

  depends what kind of conditioning agent you use; if they’re dispersed correctly, many polymeric quaternaries (e.g. PQ10) are perfectly compatible with anionic surfactants

  Yes, cationic polymers are usually compatible with anionic surfactants.  Cationic surfactants on the other hand are not.
