I wasn’t able to notice the difference but as a general rule which of these surfactant blends will be milder and which one would deposit silicones better in hair in a Shampoo?

    Amount in active

    Formula A

    SLES 10.5%

    CAPB 1.5%

    Cationic guar 0.2%

    Silicone 0.2%

    Nacl 4%

    Formula B

    SLES 10.5%

    CAPB 0.75%

    Disodium laureth 3 sulfosuccinate 0.75%

    Cationic guar 0.2%

    Silicone 0.2%

    Nacl 4%

CAPB and disodium laureth sulfosuccinate have almost the same price. Is it worth it to replace half the amount of CAPB with DLSS or not?
