  • Can SCI be used at 70% or more in shampoo bars?

I’m having a very difficult time finding SLSa as it’s out of stock everywhere in my country. Do I need another solid surfactant for my shampoo bar? Would it be possible to use SCI at above recommended usage rate of 50%? Say around 60 or even 70%… I don’t want to use another surfactant like SCS, I’m a bit conflicted some people say it’s ok to go beyond usage rate and most bars are formulated with 2 solid surfactants so any advice would be great 🙂
