  Can I melt BTMS and Cetearyl alcohol on its own?

  Usually I have been using a double boiler to warm up hair product ingredients—with water in one pyrex cup and BTMS & Cetearyl alcohol (CreamMaker CAT) in another pyrex cup… But then when I have to pour the BTMS & Cetearyl alcohol into a mason jar in order to use my stickblender, only some of it pours easily like a liquid, the rest dries up and freezes like a candle… making it so I am not able to get all of it out of the pyrex cup. I am wondering what i am doing wrong? Can I warm the BTMS, Cetearyl alcohol on the mason jar and still pour it easily into the mason jar?
