i need some serious help with my clay mask, its emulsified mask with cetyl alcohol, steric acid, almond oil, cetryl alcohol and cetreath 24 used as emusifiers pereservative added phenonip at 0.5%.

used sodium gluconate at .02% as chelaotor,
    clay used charconite clay 5%..
the issue im having is after the mask was made, i has packed it in an hdpe jar n sealed it 2 days later  i see swelling in the jar , its craked open n the product is leaking for the crack,

i understand this swelling might be an issue with the buffering..

    appreciate the guidance.. TIA
