    <div>Good morning everyone, </div>

I formulated an exfoliating body wash but it still contains foam and air bubbles even after several days.

    Here is the formula :

    Water 72,85%

    Texapon N70 12%

Rheocare (acrylate copolymer) 5% Comperlan (Cocoamide) 3%

    Dehyton K (cocamidopropylbetaine) 3%
    NaOH 1,5%
    EDTA 0,05%
    NaCl 1%
    Salycilic acid 0.5%
    Abricot powder scrubs 0,5%

    Perfum 0,5%

I would like it to be clear with no air bubbles and foam on it.
Whats is wrong with this formula?

Many Thanks you for your feedbacks!

Perhaps you reached a gel-like consistency. It’s harder to remove air from gels than for highly viscous liquids. What’s the process you’re following to make your product?

      Hello Ketchito,

      Thank you for your answer

This is the process I use

      - I mix acrylate copolymer with water

      - I add the NaCl directly to Texapon to make it easier to mix

      - Then I add the water mixed to acrylate copolymer to the texapon and salt and stirr it until homogeneous.

And after all that I continue with the rest.

The cloudiness could be to bubbles themselves, but it can actually be your acrylates complaining for too much NaCl in your formula (they usually don’t get along very well).

      Hi Ketchito,

The cloudiness and the bubbles tend to deasapear but it can takes more than 2 weeks to a whole month I dont think it’s normal.

Im new in this kind of formulation…

      Hello PhilGeis,

I used Bronidox at 0,1% in the formula

You might have reached a gel-like consistency. Try reducing your NaCl and aim for a viscous fluid appearance.
