I have been trying to make a bubble clay mask but it seems like the aeration is coming inside the container and not coming on the skin, Should I try putting some kind of a carbonated water or should I change something in my processing.
The foaming is initially coming but then stops after a day once we keep it inside the container.
I’m using methylperfluoroisobutyl ether as my blowing agent but it seems like it is getting aerated very fast.

though why you would want a “foamy” clay mask, somewhat escapes me.  isn’t the purpose of a clay mask, to expand on the face, and trap dirt so when you pull it off, the dirt comes off?

You need to emulsify it into the product and add an oil/butter or ester to temper the foaming while processing to hold the methylperfluoroisobutyl ether in it until it gets into the finished good.  This should help with the foaming on skin after application.
What clays are you using?  Does this product have the “vinegar-like” smell from them or have you been able to mask it?
