I wouldn’t use BTMS-50 in a leave-in conditioner. That would be too heavy on the hair in my opinion. But certainly not more than 1%. Probably less.

Cationic surfactants are usually used between %1 and %2. No one uses %10 at anything

Probably less.oh wow and the only reason why I purchased it because a lot of people in my industry have that in theirs what do you recommend instead? and I know its a emulsifier to make the water and oil mix so that’s another reason I purchased

%6 has %3 active surfactant. I have oily scalp andFor me %3 active cationic surfactant is a bit over conditioning. Maybe for them it is ok. Another reason for %6 my be to get enough viscosity. That you can achieve by adding fatty alcohol and it will cost you less too.
