I sell a shower gel for restaurants and caffès
    i always use formula :
    - 15% texapon
    - 2.5 % Betaine
    - 2.5 % Kemperlan KD
    - NACL
    - perfume
    - fragrance

I recently get a feedback the many customers not satisfied with foam and cleaning properties of my liquid soap !

What i could do to increase foam and enhance cleaning

should I increase betaine or texapon percentage to boost foam and make more  bubbles or there is something else?

hi, you could change the Tensied formulation slightly. I am not sure which texapon you are using so I am not sure of your main Tensied.

But you could add some Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate it will especially boost fine foam and is very nice in touch. switching out 2,5% of the Texapon to the Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate will do wonders I would guess.

it can although be beneficial if you add a complexing agent to the formulation sometimes if the water is very hard and there are many Ca and Mg Ions there it can lead to low foam as well. if you add a complexing agent that can help with that. Classically you would use EDTA

Or if you are not using NLES you could add some of that it is not the gentlest But the Foaming is very much the best you can get from the Cost/amount ratio.

@bahey As @Gordof mentioned, including a chelant such as Disodium EDTA could help. Also, if you have a bit more money, you could add an amine oxide (eg., Lauramine Oxide) to boost flash foam, but if you’re short in budget, then increasing Betaine should also work.

What mentioned above+ what type of soil are they washing? This may help to know what you need. Otherwise this formula should work.

A small amount (0.2%) of Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride may also help improve the quality of your foam.
