Do any of you work with hair bleaching powder? I was introduced to a finished product but with few quality control methods and I would like to state a mesh number for the particle size in order to guarantee good dispersibility of such powder.

A supplier recommended 325 mesh for this but I thought it is too small.
Did I make it clear? Because I’m actually confused with all this. LOL

what are you planning to disperse it in?

I agree that 325 mesh would be too fine; mixing and filling a bleaching powder that fine, on an industrial scale, would be a serious respiratory hazard and a major fire/explosion risk

from a safety perspective, coarser is definitely better!

I’m sorry I didn’t reply earlier but thank you Bill! I took your advise in consideration and decided to change the whole specification of the powder, leaving only the silica for 325 mesh.
