  BHA in serum

  I am planning to make an emulsion  with 2% BHA. I already solubilized BHA in castor oil with no issues . My question is , at PH 5.5 will the BHA diffuse from oil phase to water phase  ?

  Do you mean salicylic acid?

  If you are using only oil it will not have pH.

  Yes Salicylic acid . Since this is an emulsion (and not a serum , sorry my mistake) we do have water phase at PH 5.5
