Adding a hint of tint to mineral sunscreen, enough to counteract any slight whitening for the minerals (in my case from 60 nm silane coated ZnO), is something a fair amount of people seem to want.

    1. Are there any significant drawbacks to doing this in a daily wear formula? (with regards to user compatibility, skin health, cost etc).

    2. In your experience, what’s the best way to go about this if the goal is to add a slight amount of tint without adding any processing steps (e.g. milling), ideally just adding a simple predispersed pigment mix.

I should add it’s otherwise a pretty normal OIW emulsion.
