  benzalkonium chloride as laundry softener

  Greetings to all.

  My doubt is simple, i have read that amonium quaternary salts are main components of laundry softner, im ussing right now the benzalconium one as biocide in floor cleeaner, but i want to know if it can be used to make a softner because of his cationionic surfactan action

  Thanks anyway for watching my question.    I just cant find Centrimonium clohidrite and im looking for alternatives.
