balm/salve forulation
I’m new to formulating and looking for a salve/balms formula. I’ve searched the internet but keep finding recipes. I’ve also tried searching the forum but not finding what I’m looing for. I’m looking at my notes and I wrote 5% next to glycerin but not sure why I wrote that. Also does the percentage differ based on the wax? I just need a starting point. ype your message

I want to make a salve but don’t know what ratio of butter/oil/wax. Is it different for glycerin and a hard wax? What are the max and min? I don’t need a recipe just the formula. pe your comment

@chefjosette You will not be just given a formulation.If you have tried a formulation and need help please provide information on what you have tried and you may get some assistance.
