    Hi,

    I made several lip gloss with main ingredient Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. I also have jojoba oil, vit e acetate, liquid iron oxides,mica, and phenoxyethanol sa..

    How did my color change after 1 day? what can cause this change in color? it got darker

    I’d bet a weeks  pay that you didn’t use any pre-made color dispersions. As pigments ‘wet out’ their color gets more intense. It can take a day or two for the color to fully develop if your mixing isn’t strong enough…

    As suggested by Bob use pre-milled castor oil dispersions, work fab with HPIB.

    I do have pre dispersed but it must be my mixing method….this stuff is viscous as syrup. I just bought some eq for mixing..any recommendation as how long to mix and what RPM to use?

    I remember using Indopol H for my formula, you have to heat it up so that the dispersion is uniform and throughout. Although I had some ester oils, lanolin anh, petrolatum among other things. The product was absolutely brilliant.
