Are there any somewhat standardized codes for personal care and HI&I product types?
Where for example shampoos have a code, hair conditioners and body gel have different ones.
The same for HI&I products.I ask because our test formulas will now have codes for easier identification, so I realized that it would be better if our formulas start with a (somewhat) standardized codes.

What do you mean by codes? What are the codes supposed to represent?
Manufacturers put on Lot numbers which allows companies to be able to track products and when they were made, but this is company specific, not industry wide.
