  • Alternative to peroxide releasing compounds

    Dear All,
Is there any of the alternative to peroxide releasing
compounds in powder hair colours? It should have same results as that of
peroxide releasing compounds or else any bleach booster or any of the
ingredient to help in increasing dissolution of dyes because it is a dry
powder type product not having aqueous media. I am working in Asia
pacific region (just for regulatory purpose).

If I understand you right your question is kind of a contradiction.

You are asking if an oxidative hair color can be non-oxidative.
    - well, no.

you’ve probably not had any responses because the way you’ve written your question makes it hard to understand

I need stabilizer for peroxide salt because finished product (Powder hair colour) is getting oxidized at accelerated temp. (during stability). Sorry for delay…..

I don’t think you can prevent oxidation, and still have an effective product; the raw materials themselves oxidise over time, unless you keep them in a vacuum-sealed container

the best thing you can do is minimise it by using the purest possible grades of base and coupler

furthermore: the powder may discolour at high temperature, but does it make the product noticeably less effective? in my view, that would be the most important issue

Thanks @Bill_Toge , it is packed in vacuum sealed pouch &
kept for stability but colour of product changed at accelerated temp., All incorporated ingredients are powder form only. Is any of the suitable anti-oxidant available which should prevent discoloration during shelf life of product?

does the discolouration stop the product working properly?

It affected on appearance of the product which is a imp. criteria in case of any cosmetics.

yes, but does it still work?

in the case of hair dyes, whether or not it works properly is more important than how it looks
