In Paula’s choice ingredient dictionary they rate sodium lauryl sulfate as poor and says it is skin sensitizer at 2-5% and ammonium lauryl sulfate as good and says it is a gentle surfactant.

I am currently using SLS/SLES/CAPB/APG @ 3/7/2/2 percent active surfactants.

is ALS really milder than SLS if combined with these other surfactants in a formula.
