My employer is  insisting that I use Acid  Blue 145 (CAS No. 6408-80-6) instead of FD&C Blue 1 in a self tanning product to avoid the DHA turning the product green over time. I cannot find any information on whether or not this is allowed to be used in personal care products, but my better judgement says no. The product is a spray tan. Can anyone  enlighten me on whether or not this  dye  allowed to be used for this application?
