    Hello everyone,
I want to ask it it possible to make clear gel with carbopol of 80% ethanol with WHO recommendations 0.125H and 1.45 glycerine?
Kindly enlighten me with ur knowledge.
I am having difficulty with 80% gel regarding clarity and thickness.
I first make gel with water and than mix ethanol to 80% concentration and it becomes milky when add TEA. H2O2 does make it clear but not crystal clear.
    I use carbopol 940.
    Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Supposed to have not gel with 80% and using TEA as neutralizer, I guess your alcohol degree is wrong unless you will not have gel with 80% ethanol.
For better results try AMP in place of TEA.
