Electrolyte tolerance test for surfactant
Dear all,
I am working with a surfactant chemistry and they would like us to do electrolyte tolerance study for their non-ionic and a slightly/weakly anionic surfactant. Their intended use are in home care and personal care applications. From the experts here, I would love to hear your guidance. My questions are the following:
1. What are the properties do we test when we study the electrolyte tolerance of the surfactant? (viscosity, surface tension, interfacial tension, contact angle?)
2. What is the window of ratios I should consider?
3. I am fairly new to this, so please feel free to suggest the basic information or any other piece of information which is important for me to consider.
Thank you.
Regards
