  • Root spray feeling squeaky and not washing off?

This is a consumer question that I wanted to ask here because I could not figure it our with the lack of information online. I used a volumizing root spray with the ingredients below, and washed it off in a few minutes after my hair roots ached slightly. However, I felt like it would not wash off even after 2 rounds of shampooing and my hair sounded squeaky while washing. Is there a special ingredient that causes this feeling and any particular ingredient that would help wash it off? I use a drugstore shampoo and conditioner, occasionally use a silicone hair serum on my widths-ends (but not the time I applied this spray), and usually have noticeable of static on my hair in this winter time. Would static and other common silicones cause this spray to attach permanently or maybe help it detach?
