Emulsifyer percentage and emulsion thickness
Hello formulators! Need to clarify my knowlege of emulsification.
Do I understand correctly, that if my product emulsifyes with minimal % of emulsifyers, then I correct the thickness with cetyl alcohol, gums and waxes without increasing emulsifyer percentage? This week I experiment a lot with different emulsifier combinations and oil percentage, to get different textures and minimize soaping effect. My last test is this emulsion and I don’t know if it is ok to leave
Montanov on 1%. Would be grateful for help.
