    I made a water in oil cream (lab scale), and one of its characteristics is that it is Waterproof but when you rinse it by hand, the cream will be Easily Rinsed Off or lost. (these are the characteristics I want)

    Then, I did an accelerated stability test at a temperature of 60 c, my cream was stable for 3 weeks there was no change, but at the 4th week, my cream was Still Water Resistant or Waterproof but why did It Turn Out to be Difficult When Rinsed by hand? cream becomes difficult to disappear from the skin.

    Does anyone know what factor causes it?

    I’m very grateful if anyone helps me

    60C for any period (4 weeks!) is a pointless stability condition that simulates nothing but gross product abuse.

      Leaving aside the temperature, do you know what factors caused the change in my cream rinse?

      Does its humectant or occlusive rate affect?

          This is my company’s sop related temperature of accelerated stability test, and we always use those temperatures for other dosage forms.

          Can you give me one of the most important pieces of advice I can do?

          Should I lower the temperature or maybe increase the concentration of other components?

            I understand this stability slot is not your choice. Regret I have no solution for you other than its elimination.

    If at 60°C you’re at your PIT and some water has evaporated, then that could be the reason. More reason to follow @PhilGeis ‘s advice about the stability temperature.

      Aah… i think so, some water has evaporated.

      Do you think it would be better if I increase the concentration of the water or humectants, ya?

        I think you better find another chamber to do the stability. There might not be annything wrong with your formula, just a very unrealistic stability temperatura.
