  When to add silicone emulsion in a hair conditioner?

  A hair conditioner with 1% BTAC and 2% fatty alcohol. When to add amodimethicone macro or micro emulsion to this formula for the purpose of hair conditioning?

  A: @ temperature above 60°c before emulsification

  B: at temperature below 30°c after emulsification

  I usually add Amodimethicone emulsion into the formulation during cooling phase..
