  Alpha arbutin

  Hi

  I made an alpha arbutin serum with these ingredients:

  Alpha arbutin 2%

  Glycerin 3%

  Propylene glycol 3%

  Sodium hyaluronate 0.5%

  Phenoxyethanol 1%

  It changed its color and turned brown.. what should i add to make it stable

  Add a little bit of lactic acid to steady the pH at 5.0 - 6.0 and a bit of mannitol to inhibit redox reactions with light, oxidizers.
