  • emulsion cool down phase..how to add 7% of essential oils

    Hi

I have a specific issue , our emulsion is using Polyaquol 2W at 2.5% and Jojoba/FCO at only 3%..

We want to incorporate Sandalwood oil at around 7% in the cool down phase (cannot heat it more than 40C). Is that even possible or should I look only at cold process emulsifier (we dont like the feel of most cold process emulsifiers)

    Thx you.

Are you referring to Sandalwood Essential Oil? If Yes, then you need to check the dermal limits for the application you want to use if for. 7% will not be acceptable.
