weight loss - drying out
Hello.
I recently created a fluid-like cream serum formula using mainly natural ingredients. It works wonderfully on the skin, on the other hand I realised some weight loss after stability testing. It has Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate combined with Glyceryl Stearate to emulsify low levels of fatty alcohols and medium polarity esters. For stabilization I used a fine grade of xanthan gum (0.5%). I would like to stay away from synthetic polymers (because of environmental considerations). Unfortunately, for now, I also have to stick with a simple bottle container with dropper cap, so airless container is not possible. Do you have anything in mind to help avoid water loss/drying out of a product?

@Zoya We cannot offer much help without knowing the other ingredients, especially anything remotely volatile - such as water. If you stored inside a HDPE single-wall bottle during the ACC stability phase, you definitely lost some water.
