Hi, anyone can help to advise the use of cetyl stearate and stearyl palmitate in cosmetic? Both ingredients have 34 carbon chain, hence how do they differ in terms of their performance? Thanks

Did you see any difference in performance? In an emulsion, since they both have more or less similar melting point and chemical structure (with minor changes), I wouldn’t expect any significant difference in performance.

I have not conduct a comparison in performance yet. Checking with members if they have any experience with both the chemicals - are they interchangeable or which is better than the other in terms of efficacy.
