    Hi guys,

Trying to make a hair gel that is non flaky and non sticky. I am using the formula below. My end result is full of little air bubbles and kind of choppy/chunky more so than smooth. What am i doing wrong? Is it the formula, my mixing speed etc. Thanks in advance.

    95.4% Distilled Water

    .6% Carbomer / Carbopol 980

    (drops )Triethanolamine

    1% Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)

    2% Glycerine

    1% Phenoxethanol + CG

Could you add PVP right after Carbomer (before TEA), let the mixture release some air, and then neutralize it?
