I read some article about euxyl PE 9010 would become inactive if used with ethoxylated surfactants.

Can 12% Emulsifying wax NF inactivate 1 % euxyl PE 9010 in formula ?

What are you making with 12% emulsifying wax?

@vasant I believe that happens mostlye when you have a highly ethoxylated emulsifier. In any case, try to add that preservative in the cool down phase, so it can go to the free water of your emulsion.

Rubbish, it is a good preservative! Keep using it.

This question has been going around for years and has been asked of Schulke Technical Services on numerous occasions. They have not seen inactivation and feel that as part of a proper Preservation SYSTEM. We used it a great deal without any issues in testing or post-market. We have moved away from it in the past 24-36 months simply due to the undeserved market pushback on Phenoxyethanol.
Polysorbates are used to inactivate preservatives in testing so I am going to tag the person I know who knows more about preservation than anybody, @@PhilGeis
