I wonder if any body has an explanation for the following issue,
Some creams looks great in appearance after production but after sometime like 2 or three month they looks like not very nice as it needs to be more homogenized also it seems a little thickener than before,,, what do you think the problem is?
Do you think oil phase should be more or emulsifiers should be more or mixing should be more??
this is a general question not for a specific for some formulation……

Thanks in advance for your help

@Robert It seems there is a problem with your emulsifying system, but it’d be better if you write down your formula.

@robert as @ketchito said, it can be a problem with your emulsifying system (general problem) and it would be better if you write down the/your formula.

You state that there is no specific formula… so this happens regardless of formula used with the same ingredients??  :/ I hate to say it… but the issue here is…. YOUR FORMULA/METHOD. Please share it. Something in either the methodology used (something as simple as not shearing appropriately when using emulsifiers), or an ingredient compatibility issue (like some emulsifiers dont like to be pairs with some electrolytes or function better in different bases).

    Please share.

Dear friends, I mention a specific cause as a general formula, meaning I exclude all other ingredients to be the problem so as a general formulation have optimum ingredients could an extra emulsifiers cause something like this?  I will add another question in the same way, Could an extra emulsifier decrease absorbance of the cream from skin? it will make it take more time to be absorbed ,,  I hope that I made my point Clear! @Graillotion @ketchito

make sure do freeze thaw cycles  test min. 3 times  before you say your formulation are good enough
