  • how to thicken my cleansing oil?

How can I thicken my cleansing oil (vegetable oils, solubilizer and emulsifier) to look more like a very thick oil/balm for airless pump bottle? I add water to my face after massage the cleansing oil, and it turns into milk and easily rinse off. Natural waxes does not rinse very easily off!!

What natural waxes are you using? We could help more if you share your formula.

High HLB emulsifier. This will help to wash it off.

    C10-18 Triglycerides

Fun product to work with….simply change to inclusion rate, until you have the desired viscosity.  You can range from negligible all the way to butter.

Thank you! I will try C10-18 Triglycerides!! And about hight HLB emulsifiers - is there any of those that gives kind of “clear” color, not the white color?

**Please share formula so that appropriate recommendations can be provided**.

What you’re looking for are oil gelling agents. This can be done with waxes, some polymers, etc. Happy to provide recommendations but a formula is best.

Depends on the formula and whether the product should be clean or can be cloudy. Could be a variety of ingredients from cetyl alcohol to polyamide 3
