    Greetings experts
One of my friends mentioned that fragrances and perfumes have irritation effect on the human skin

I’ve done some research about it and found lots of irritation cases.
My question is: Is Herbs water extracts obtained form distillation can substitute fragrances and perfumes in skin care products.
PS: In my country there is no obvious market for essential oils, it is merely hard to find.
    thank you all

I’ve never done it with distillates alone but i would think that yes, they can, although you’ll probably need a much higher % of them. I am about to do this soon in a new formula and my only concern is how long the smell will last before degrading.

    That’s concerns me too.
But I will do it any way and get back to you soon.

I have a facial spritz that contains 10% rose hydrsol. The scent has not degraded after a year.
