  • Lincoserve WpH-LO-Plus as sole preservative?

    Wondering if this preservative blend I came across could in theory be used as the only preservative in a formula, along with a low ph and chelating agent. It contains:

    Pentylene Glycol (and) Propanediol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin (and) Chlorphenesin

    Would you use it alone or as a booster for your main preservative?

    @GeorgeBenson

    I would not rely on it solo since it mostly comprised of preservative boosters/potentiators.  Pair it up with either Phenoxyethanol or Phenethyl Alcohol.

    great, I was thinking maybe .75% Lincoserve and .75% Phenoxyethanol.
