I recommend sodium lactate and trimethylglycine, remember that sodium lactate compromises the stability and density conferred by rheological modifiers such as carbomers.

I find that Glyceryl Glucoside works for my skin, besides from the ones listed above. I’m in an air conditioned room most of the day and i break out if my skin is overly dry.

I’m a little slow to the party…. Are you still fond of Glyceryl Glucoside?
Is this stuff crazy expensive everywhere? I see the Thai place has it. No other USA repackers…that I am aware of.

And………is has ever so much nicer looking INCI than: Hydroxypropyl Bis-Hydroxyethyldimonium Chloride ????

@ProfessorHerb Besides the occlusive and humecting ingredients, emollients (like isopropyl myristate or caprylic/capric triglyceride) help complete the combo.

Petrolatum, mineral oil, lanolin, urea. And making the emulsion W/O
-
Urea + Sodium Lactate + Mineral oil
That’s the most researched clinical combo to treat dryness and flaking. Yeah, nothing else heals faster.

Yep. It’s something I suffer from……extremely dry skin.
And the solution? I use high-quality plant oils applied directly to my skin. My choice at the moment is Jojoba Oil.
-
Surprisingly ???? i use jojoba oil to reduce my skin oiliness. Specially on nose and it reduces oil production very well.
