  Neutralization

  Hello. Anyone familiar with Acudyne 1000???

  I wanted to know if anyone knew if it would be ok if I only neutralized the Acudyne 1000 60 or 70% instead of what is recommended by DOW at 90-100%

  My pH is extremely high neutralizing 90-100% pH 9.95 (per testing lab)

  I reduced neutralization to 80% but my pH is still a little high at 7.75 (per lab)

  I wanted a clear gel as the finished product but the more I lower the neutralizer it affects the clarity and the product is becoming less and less clear. It’s turning cloudy which is not particularly a problem because the hold is still there.

  Any thoughts???

  @Newtoformulating Are you using AMP to neutralize your Acudyne 1000?
