First thank you in advance for your help!

I tried to reduce the irritation of Retinol.

What the best ingredients to minimize the Retinol irritation?
    currently, I use ectoin .

Does vit C (stable form) reduce Retinol irritation?

    Anti-irritants, such as Allantoin.

@Paprik, today I put 0.5% allantoin into formula with retinol. Amazing irritation from retinol is gone. Thanks again.
but, water phase has 89% and oil phase has 11%. So, I adjusted 0.5% to 0.45%.

The water phase was stirred for 2 hours in high speed of 2300 rpm. There are allantoin particles at the bottom. When I poured the water phase into oil phase, and kept the allantoin out. Is it right? Or I have to pour also the allantoin particles on the bottom?

Add a little heat to the water phase…and I think your allantoin will go right in….as long as you do not exceed the rate it can contain.  You should be able to then let it cool, and it will stay (again…as long as you did not exceed the rate it can hold…If I recall correctly, .56% of the water).

I have been working on a non-irritating deo cream….with soothers….and I used the above two mentioned items…and Betaine…is another to consider, and it has come out as nice as I had hoped.
